Rotala Hra is one of the best Rotalas for creating an orange reddish midground bushy effect. In order to develop reddish coloration and more lateral growth Rotala Hra should be grown under high light in soft water with CO2 injection and fertilized frequently.  Its growth pattern is similar to other, more lateral creeping Rotalas like Rotala sp. ‘Green’.  With proper growth conditions lateral growth and orange and reddish coloration will occur more.
