HM is a common aquarium plant that’s great for all experience levels.  Its growth pattern is similar to stem plants although it tends to grow shorter.  It can be trimmed down to form a bushy look or even a carpet look if trimmed frequently.  HM can offer a great softening aesthetic when planted commingled with tall stem plants like Rotalas offering a contrast to red stem plants.
